We have featured the incredible Secret Dockyard photographic work of Andrew Hayward previously (you can see that article HERE) and are happy to say that Andrew will be exhibiting this project very soon.
Secret Dockyard is a photographic exploration of the Conservation, Preservation and Restoration areas of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The works were photographed as part of Andrew’s photography degree from which he graduated earlier this year and this is the first exhibition of the works since the degree show with the University of Portsmouth. This will also be Andrew’s first solo show.
The exhibition will be at the former Tourist Information Centre just outside the main entrance to the Historic Dockyard, this building also used to be the naval recruitment office at the beginning of the 20th Century. Reproductions of the images will also be available for purchase but will be made to order and in limited number.
The show will be open from the evening of Friday 14th September until Sunday 16th. Private view night between 5.30pm and 8pm on the Friday with everyone welcome, then open between 10am and 5pm on the Saturday and the Sunday.
