Enjoying Local Food – Nicholson’s

Hey hey people. Charlie here, about a couple of weeks ago I was asked if I wanted to start contributing food posts for Strong Island, my answer was pretty much immediate. So from now on I will be having the pleasure of updating you with anything to do with eating, buying and enjoying food in Southsea. First up we have the tapas restaurant Nicholson’s on Albert Road, I can’t recommend it enough, good service and great food at a tidy price. On the menu is all the classics such as chorizo and red wine, escabeche, pinches and many more. We ordered 5 dishes and 2 large San Migs which came to only £38. Gotta be happy with that. This eatery is a prime example of how the street is deviating from the standard curry houses and fast becoming a legit food destination in our fair town. However it could do with some aircon. Enjoy.

Walked past a few times but never tried it, looks good. Plus the food in the photos is almost exactly what I would order too.
