‘Heroes Dinner’ is a Dinner Dance event being held at the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel on 22nd June to raise funds for Help for Heroes. It is set to be a great evening of fun, fundraising and great live entertainment. The event is open to all and has already attracted the backing of local supporters of this fantastic charity and our Armed Forces, local businesses, the emergency services, both serving and ex serving military personnel and special guests from Band of Brothers – those wounded Heroes that the charity directly supports.

The evening has a top line up including inspirational adventurer after dinner speakers Ian Couch and Ben Thackwray from Adventure Hub. Ben returns fresh from summiting Mount Everest this month with 16 year old Surrey climber George Atkinson and both adventurers are about to embark on an incredible expedition series together. There will be a variety of live entertainment throughout the evening and dancing with sensational party band ‘STAR’. Regularly performing for the most prestigious parties and glittering occasions in the country’s top venues, especially in London’s West End, where they are almost part of the fixtures and fittings in hotels such as The Dorchester, Grosvenor House and The Park Lane Hilton, STAR is nine piece band featuring drums, bass, guitar and keyboards, sax, trumpet, lead male vocals and two girl singers.

A luxury auction and grand raffle will both help to raise vital funds on the evening. Items include a week in a Cornish Cottage, a Solent sailing trip with Breakaway Sailing for 6, a weekend in Snowdonia National Park with a day climbing and trekking with expert guides, Spa Breaks, a Dinner Party in your home and much more!

Event tickets are £50 and this includes welcome cocktail, 3 course dinner with wine and coffee, live entertainment and guest speakers. Tickets are available individually and as table party bookings. Two free bottles of wine are being offered to each table booking made. All ticket proceeds and every penny raised on the evening goes direct to Help for Heroes. Everyone is welcome to come and join the party and do your bit to support this wonderful charity and our Heroes.
