Following on from last weeks post ‘Thomas Ellis Owen Shaper of Portsmouth, ‘Father of Southsea’ by Sue Pike‘ we’ve now been informed there is also an accompanying bike ride led by local expert John Pike, looking at work of the Southsea architect. Riding around is a great way to take in local architecture, and what’s even better for an ‘architectural bike ride’ is to have your very own tour guide. Everyone who comes on the ride will be entered into a prize draw to win a signed copy of the book. The ride will leave Guildhall Square on Wednesday 22nd June at 5pm and you can see all the other organised rides HERE.
