Created Local – Zo Zo Reworked Vintage

Local vintage clothing seamstress and lovely lady Zoe Laker recently had an article published in the NEWS talking about how she started up reworking vintage clothes, getting her first sales, her passion for the 80’s and shorter hem lines…..I won’t go in to it too much as you should read the article yourself and see what Zoe had to say about starting up from a hobby altering clothes to selling directly to shops both locally and in London.

“I started off doing it because I used to go to charity shops and buy vintage clothes, but they were never quite right the way they were. I always started altering them to make them a bit more fashionable, because I loved the prints but not necessarily the shape.”

You can read the full article over HERE and don’t forget to pop in to Dead Mans Glory on Albert Road or The Laden Showroom in Brick Lane if you’re up in the smoke. You can also keep up to date with all things Zo Zo over at her Facebook page.
