Lauren Marshall and her colleague Jenna are in the process of setting up a Comunity Interest Company to work with young people in Portsmouth aged 14-25. The aim is to get them involved in volunteering projects in the City and through that raise their skills set and motivation. Activities will include gardening, litter picking, beach cleaning, revamping/refurbishing as well as community boosting campaigns and projects, amongst others. This is a new project to continue the types of work that we have been coordinating on the involved project for the past two and half years as a result of the government cutting our existing funding.

The girls are looking for help with the identity side of things for their project working on a logo design and subsequently web/posters etc. There is not much in the way of cash money in payment, but they are certain they can arrange something.
