At 2pm local author Roger James will do a book signing for his recent book ‘Ursula Liberated’. It tells the story of Ursula Sternberg, wife of Jonathan Sternberg the composer, about her time in hiding in German-occupied Belgium during the Second World War, her liberation and subsequent friendship with one of the liberating troops after the war. Roger James served with Montgomery and is also the author of ‘Montgomery at Normandy.
