The Strong Island Company crate for The Belle Isle is coming along nicely, but I’ve been stuck for a while now as of what to put on the other sides. The main logo I painted on is going to be hidden by peoples legs most of the time so I needed to add something that could be seen from other angles. A lot of messing around and researching old posters and adverts left me no where so I decided to keep it simple. Keeping up with the the whole shipping crate theme and making something that made it more in keeping to it’s surroundings.
Once I figure out how to age paper and make it look all knackered I’ll apply a print to each end of the crate. Now……I’m still not sure what to put on the front! I’ll get there in the end. Think I’ve got about a week left.
How good would stickers look? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink…

Looking good! Forgive me for sticking me oar in. I would kern some of those letters. Between T&H -H&E on ‘THE’ Also ‘SOUTHSEA’ Needs a good kerning.

It was a weird CS4 to CS3 issue. Back saved it but each letter separated on to individual text layers and slightly moved around. Bloody compatibility. Cheers Dean.

You can age paper by soaking it in cold tea…
