Pompey finished their season with a disappointing loss in the FA Cup final against Chelsea.  Despite the result a great day was had by all that travelled up to support the team and from what I hear it was the same back in Portsmouth.  What has been labelled by some of the travelling faithful as well as the national press as ‘The Dunkirk Spirit’ just goes to show the passion of the city and it’s population.  Time for a new start next season for the Blues with hopefully a bit better fortune.
