Disposable Perspectives is a grassroots art project, run by people who like to get their teeth dirty and hands messy. Using disposable cameras the project aspires to be a culmination and celebration of art + culture in Portsmouth. The project works on the ethic that 25% of any money made will go towards a community cause, whilst the other 75% will be used to keep it afloat. However as we move in to the summer, and the creative juices are flowing, they are hunting for that cause. They have a few possibilities in the pipeline but want the suggestions of the people who live in the heart of Southsea. So if you have an idea of where an injection of money would be well spent, then send it to hello@disposableperspectives.org
You can view the first batch of photos to be developed at www.disposableperspectives.org (and marvel at the wonderful banner created by local designer George Crick.
Keep your eyes open for further developments in the next few months.
