I’ve just had an email from a current student on the BA Graphic Design course at Portsmouth University. An interesting idea to visually map current and missed opportunity advertising areas in the city and subvert them with the contributors own image or message.
“Basically all im trying to do is get as many Graphic Designers to contribute ideas or designs for an alternative mapping project of Portsmouth and Southsea, their ideas have to be sent anonymously, im then going to put the results live on the domain i have set up. Its a type of experiment as well as something i think could be pretty interesting if enough people attempt it.”
