Fancy getting off the island this Saturday? Fancy a couple of beers and a bite to eat? Then get involved with Charlie and Stevie D’s bike ride. A casual 20 mile bike ride to Chichester with a halfway pit stop for some food and a beer at Westbourne before moving on and descending in to Chichester for a few more beers.
The start point is 11.45am at the Red Flat down on the seafront. For those that don’t know the Red Flat it’s the spot where all the skaters hang out next to the Life Guard. Check out the Google Map for the route and Red Flat start point and check the Facebook page. Looks like the weather is going to be good, so what are you waiting for.

Sure! Starting at the red and then up the cycle path on the Eastern road via St James. It’s a pretty direct way to leave the island. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi
If you can’t make this ride, Pompey Cycle Forum have an easy ride along the seafront on Sunday 5th July from Clarence Pier to Eastney and then back to the bandstand. Start 12pm. Every other Sunday after this.
We want the council to see there is demand for a seafront cycle route, and not put off a decision any longer.

Wow. A sarcastic comment. Never thought of that. 1 fixed gear bike went and not a plaid shirt in sight. It’s not London.
