Southsea creative Ami Hyde bas been busy working on an exciting new endeavour and is recruiting some of the Island’s finest creative visionaries along for the ride…

Ami launched Lo & Behold Bespoke in 2017 after her DIY wedding to her husband Maxwell. Specialising in bohemian weddings she offers a plethora of services to couples in need including prop hire, event styling, bespoke design and event coordination. Over the past 5 years, the business has grown and Lo & Behold Bespoke have been featured on the top UK bridal blogs and publications!

And now she is embarking on an exciting new endeavour to further raise the status of Hampshire wedding suppliers… Joining forces with Beth at the Barn the two have been busy behind the scenes launching a brand new, Hampshire Wedding Fair!

Lo & Behold another Wedding Fair is an event #forthevisionaries – both suppliers and couples alike. Both Ami & Beth love couples who are pushing boundaries to have celebrations which are truly about them and their love story.

The fair will take place at The Barn and Avington over the weekend of the 22 & 23 October and couples will experience the best that the South-East has to offer… Expertly selected suppliers – eye-catching pitches including fresh talent, collaborative stands, workshops and more!

Ami & Beth have worked tirelessly to ensure the fair will be a style-led event, Ami explains… “I have been so lucky to have exhibited at some of the most exciting and ground-breaking wedding fairs in the UK, fairs that celebrate diversity, individuality and doing things your way… I LOVE these kinds of shows, they are inspiring and supportive and so much fun, but they’re always in London, and whilst I love London, my business is based in Southsea and I thought the South Coast deserved something equally as cool and exciting! Hampshire has so many incredible & innovative wedding professionals and venues that it made sense to start something new.”

And in recruiting exhibitors, Ami & Beth have selected some of Portsmouth & Southsea’s most exciting wedding suppliers. Velvet Queen, Freya Rose, Hartt Cakes, Stuff Tailor Made and Luvshifting will all be joining Lo & Behold Bespoke at the fair and so it’s a great opportunity for anyone getting married locally to meet some brilliant local suppliers!

General admission is free however you must still obtain a ticket, alternatively, VIP tickets are available to purchase for just £5, VIPs get early access on both days, a glass of Fizz and a goody bag!
