‘No Requests’ at The Fawcett Inn is a weekly open mic night centred around original material, spontaneity and inclusivity from The Hill Brothers/The South Coast Collective. The evening offers a space for both up and coming and experienced players alike to express themselves and collaborate in a live creative environment.

The evening is hosted by brothers Ryan and Nathan Hill from the band Idol State (formerly know as Kassassin Street) and it runs every Monday, with music starting at 8pm, feel free to come from 7:30pm for a chat and to grab a seat.

Mics, a Drum Kit (including cymbals, snare, pedal and stands), Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar are all available to use.

Collaborations are encouraged, but please only get up and play during someone’s slot if they have asked you to. Only expect to play once, although they will do their best to squeeze second sets in, they respect that some people finish work at different times, so if someone turns up later in the evening they may prioritise them.

The team behind No Requests are respectfully asking that the audience doesn’t upload any performances without the artists permission, this is very much a space for musicians to try out new or unfinished material and have a bit of fun off the record, but you can take all the photos you want though!
