News: Isle of Wight Festival 2019

After what felt like the longest wait for the line-up announcement in the history of all line-up announcements, we have finally discovered who’ll be gracing the stages at the Isle of Wight Festival this June.

After a great performance by one half of Oasis last year, it seems the other Gallagher brother wanted to give the headline spot a try this year. Having first seen Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds at Victorious Festival a few years ago, I’m very much looking forward to seeing them kick off the weekend.

Other headline acts include chart-topping British singer-songwriter, George Ezra, in what will be his first major UK festival headline performance, followed by special guest Fatboy Slim, who will keep the party going on the Saturday night.

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro will bring their passionate and rousing live show to the Main Stage on Sunday night, closing the 2019 festival in what is sure to be an epic headline performance.

Also joining the line-up for this year’s event are Anne-Marie, Bastille, Courteeners, Gerry Cinnamon, James, Jess Glynne, KT Tunstall, Lily Allen, Rick Astley, Sigala, Sigrid, The Coral, and plenty more!

Another highlight for me will be British institution and legendary band Madness, who will be bringing their bold and energetic sound to the island this summer. Emerging from the punk, reggae and ska scenes of the late ‘70s with a string of classic singles and albums, Madness continue to be one of the country’s most loved bands.

The festival takes place between 13th-17th June and tickets are on sale now from isleofwightfestival.com/info/tickets.
