The Wildlife Trust is currently running their 30 Days Wild month long nature challenge and we want you to get involved. They are asking us to engage with our natural surroundings, so in the spirit of their campaign, we would like our June 2019 page to be a celebration of nature within the city. What constitutes nature you ask, well, I’m going to leave that to your own interpretation.
For more information about the 30 Days Wild campaign then check out their website which is linked at the bottom of the article.

If you’ve taken a photo that you’d like to submit then it is easier for us if you can email your submission via calendar@strong-island.co.uk. If you’ve taken a photo on Instagram or have multiple entries then to submit for consideration just make sure that you add the hashtags #SIC2019 and #30DaysWild.
In our 2018 calendar, we saw first-time inclusions and it would be great to have a few more photographers making their debuts this year, so if you know someone who you think should be involved then please share this with them and tell them not to be shy because we’d love for them to get involved. It is often hard to tell who are the professionals and who are the opportunists taking great snaps with their mobile phones.
