On Friday 18th May, at 7pm, No.6 Cinema will host a screening of projects created by final year students from a variety of university courses, including Film Industries and Media Studies from the University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. These films are a representation of the hard work the students have dedicated over their years at University, a showcase of all they have learnt, and this one off special screening is the perfect way to celebrate their talent, and time at University. Films to be screened include:
– BA Film Industries student, Alex Black presents Grief and Paralysis, a film by Jack Low, a surreal story exploring the dream world.
– BA Film Studies student, Daniel Robinson will present Thick as Thieves, a tale of two crooks on a heist gone wrong.
– BA Media Studies student, Jamie Sacco, presents Addicted, an apologue imagining a couple’s struggle to quit smoking.
Tickets are available via the No6 Cinema website, and are just £3 each.
