On the third Thursday of every month, Aspex Gallery hosts a range of artist-focussed events: exhibition previews, networking, creative showcases and talks/seminars. To kickstart the New Year and the the first ThirdThursday of 2018 on January the 18th they have invited artists nominated for The News, Portsmouth‘s Guide Award (Best Visual Artist category) to discuss their creative process. The artists and speakers include Meehalska, Majid Dhana, Karl Rudziak and Sadie Tierney.

This event runs from 18.00 – 20.00hrs and is completely free, however booking is required (via Eventbrite HERE).

The Gallery’s cafe, artisan bakery BREAD Addiction will also be open – with drinks, freshly baked pastries and cakes available to purchase.
