PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

Could you be a Mentor for a Student?

EBP South are looking for people who might be interested in mentoring a young person at a local Portsmouth School. It doesn’t matter what your job role is or if you’re recently retired, you can mentor a young person aged 14 -16. 1-1 mentoring can help to build a student’s confidence, help them to achieve their potential, build their resilience, and assist them in future planning at a time where they have a lot of pressure. Mentoring is a way to use your skills and experience, develop new skills and give back to your local community.

Mentors are matched to the students and it takes place in schools, with only a commitment of one hour a week during term-time. As well as Portsmouth there are also opportunities across Waterlooville, Fareham, Southampton and across the South Coast.
