With autumn now arriving the artists of Crafts in the Tower have some amazing products on display this Sunday 18th September at the Square Tower in Old Portsmouth. There are also lots of sellers, back from holiday, and with new work to show.
There are two newcomers: Cecilia Windebank who makes beautiful individually handcrafted items in patchwork, using a variety of materials. Painter and gilder, Erin Wright, will join resident painters Mel Brundrit, who has some new work crafted over the summer, Teresa Templeton and Judy Charlton. Fused glass artist Cherie Lubbock is also back, along with Bernice Hughes and her delightful fairy castles.
You will also be able to see quirky prints, handmade pens, practical hand crafted wooden items and beautifully decorated wooden boxes. Other crafts on display will include jewellery in silver and semi-precious stones, hand embroidered work, gilded ware and ceramics.
Crafts in the Tower is on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The vintage tea room will also be open and admission is free.
