Aaron Udy makes his debut on Taro Records with two original tracks characteristically straddling the line between dance floor and experimental. Clashing and grinding metallic sounds loop around minimal drum patterns, each track punching with it’s own rhythmic vibe. Remixes contributed by Taro family members Magoii, P/A and Taro Division steer the tracks back into industrial rave territory, chewed up and spat out through marching sounds, heavy kicks and the customary distortion.
Aaron Udy produces, remixes and DJs electronic music with a focus on techno and electro. Involved with events in Portsmouth for the best part of 20 years he also has a fair back catalogue of multi genre dance floor music with plays on BBC Radio One, XFM and 1xtra. Recent years have seen him hone his sound and concentrate on fusing analogue and digital sounds. This new focus has led to him using his full name for the first time in his career and this EP is the first fully distributed collection of original music since donning that moniker.
