Crowdfunding Campaign for Innovate Glasses Case

THE HUMBLE GLASSES CASE HAS BEEN RE-INVENTED

The humble glasses case has just been re-invented by Portsmouth designer Fi Murray creating an innovative new concept, that has then been developed by Bang Creations in to a product ready for market. BOB is a glasses case that delivers more than the regular glasses cases, it is a case for your glasses, a place for your devices, and a catch all for your bits and bobs. BOB opens up to allow you to display your tablet and phone while also storing and hiding all the pocket shrapnel you dump on your desk before you start work.

Bang Creations have been developing the product from concept through to branding, marketing, prototyping and down to production ready design. You can now buy a BOB glasses case through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

BOB Glasses Case - Concept

Strong Island Media recently worked with the designers on the lifestyle photography and the Kickstarter video for BOB…

BOB is no larger than a normal glasses case. The case is moulded in ABS, then inlaid with fabric to protect the glasses. Two wings wrap around the case and are held together magnetically. These wings fold down, and support the base of your phone or tablet, while the back of the phone or tablet rests against the case. The styling and function is deliberately simplistic. Subtle hinges turn the folding walls into storage section wings and they open/close with an addictive magnetic closure.

Strong Island Media recently worked with the designers on the lifestyle photography and the Kickstarter video for BOB, shot primarily around Southsea at such locations as Southsea Coffee Co, Si Digital studio and on Southsea Common and Beach. You can read all about the media production process on the BOB website HERE.

AT WORK

BOB can be your ‘second’ screen. When open BOB can hold your tablet and phone together. BOB can display your notes, allow you to test an app prototype or even act as a digital sketching easel. BOB will hide all your desk mess!

IN THE HOME

BOB can go home with you too. BOB is handy especially when you use reading glasses to enjoy the latest novel or your favourite recipe. It is great storage for all your bit ’n’ bobs on the bedside table.

ON THE GO, ANYWHERE

On the go, BOB really comes into play. It’s for all those times you wish you had something to hold and display your device for you – instead of your hands! Listen to music on the beach, lay in the park whilst reading your kindle, catch up on your favourite programmes in bed and share ideas effortlessly.
