PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

Andrew Foster

In 2006 after a stint working in Soho, singer/songwriter Andrew Foster returned to Portsmouth and formed his own record label Green Fish Records. The name originates from watching goldfish in a bowl and using it as an analogy for channeling frustration and limitation. Andrew’s first two releases were the EP’s ‘Russells Teapot’ and ‘New Criterion’.

You may recognise Andrew from playing our Strong Island stage at last months Victorious Festival. He entertained quite a crowd with tracks from his new album ‘Science & Magic’. The album features ‘The Garden’ and the cover of ‘Centre Straight Atom’ by Kassassin Street were produced by Kassassin Street’s own Rowan Bastable. You can get a copy of ‘Science & Magic’ HERE on iTunes for £7.99 or 79p per track.

You can catch Andrew playing live when he supports Danny & the Champions of the World on 22nd October at The Cellars in Eastney. For more information on his music and live shows you can follow him on Facebook, SoundCloud and Twitter @andyfostermusic.
