Tomorrow evening at 7pm the Portsmouth Film Society are showing Inside Llewyn Davis at the Eldon Building, Winston Churchill Avenue. Inside Llewyn Davis is an evocative period portrait of a glass-half-empty guy and the travails of paying your dues, following the misadventures of the “Dylanesque” Llewyn through the 1960s folk music scene.
This summer, Portsmouth Film Society offers the people of the city the chance to watch great films under the stars at a series of Sunset Open Air Screenings at a number of venues across the city.
The first of these screenings will be the cult classic Easy Rider this Friday at 9:30pm in the University of Portsmouth Student Union Garden. Get there early for free popcorn.
Free entry for UoP students with a valid Student ID.
