Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service (PARCS), is a Portsmouth based charity providing free counselling and psychotherapy to women, men and children who have suffered sexual or domestic abuse.

PARCS has been in existence for 32 years and is the only place in South East Hampshire where people who have suffered abuse can come for free specialist help and support.

They are holding a fundraising event at the Rifle Club on 31st October. The event is called Big Bands and Bad Monsters, it will feature six local bands who are all donating their time for free. As it is Halloween then event will be fancy dress with prizes.

Tickets are £5 in advance from the Rifle Club or £7 on the door. With the proceeds of all ticket sales coming to PARCS. For information about the event, check out the Facebook event HERE.
