Wessex Cancer Trust provides help for Portsmouth cancer patients, their families and carers. Everyday, care support is available to make the lives of local people living with cancer, a bit easier. Emotional support, therapies and financial grants are some of the ways Wessex Cancer Trust helps Portsmouth cancer patients, but they need to do more. By supporting some of their events, you could be helping them to help the community.

WCT are looking for people to take part in their Sponsored Cycle Ride on Sunday 7th July along the Hayling Island Billy Line Trail from Havant Train Station to the disused Station (now theatre) in South Hayling and back again with midway refreshments and lunch at The Ship at Langstone on the way back. It’s a very leisurely 10 mile loop that is a flat and safe small gravel off road cycleway suitable for families (road tyres are not advised to be honest). Entry is £12.50 adults / £10 child & includes a pub lunch.
