I’m loving this rooftop angle looking down in to the garden at The Phoenix. Elmer Maniebo, Marc Bowyer-Briggs and Diana Goss have been and about capturing interesting angles around the city and this one is particularly cool.
The Phoenix is most certainly one of my favourite pubs in central Southsea and it’s great to see it from this perspective. Eclectic historical decor, weird and wonderful photos of Kings Theatre celebrities, pub dog, darts, games room, meat raffle, pub quiz and an awesome all day sunshine garden. Drink anyone…

The Phoenix is a personal fav of mine too, great garden and a fantastic display of old Brickwoods paraphernalia in the pool room. Any pub that still does a meat raffle is good in my books. Although £4 for a pint of 1664 is a tiny bit steep in my books… Stick to the ales.
