16 Miles Photographic & Poetry Exhibition

16 Miles Photographic & Poetry Exhibition

Richard Williams currently has and exhibition being held on the 3rd floor cafe of the Portsmouth Central Library. The exhibition is titled “16 Miles”, as it’s primarily an exhibition of photographs taken whilst Richard is running around the perimeter of Portsea island in training for various marathons. The poetry comes from a long sequence of poems written about the same subject. Depending on whether you include all the extra diversions on offer (such as the spur road to the RNLI station), and the run to and from the perimeter itself, the distance is anything from 14 to 16 miles.

The exhibition itself is free, there’s a cafe to enjoy a cup of tea whilst you are there, and all the photographs and poems are available for sale (£40 for large photographs, £25 for smaller ones – they are available for collection before the 25th December).
