A Day In The Life Of Meon Infant School

A Day In The Life Of Meon Infant School

Images from a project carried out this term at Meon Infant School are currently on display at the Third Floor Gallery/Café, Central Library in Guildhall Square, until Wednesday November 28th. Local photographer, Janet Myers, documented the routines and experiences of the staff and children at this much loved school, to provide the viewer with an informative and entertaining insight into this phase of education. The exhibition will appeal to both children and adults, and in particular, those with an interest in education and/or photography. The venue is ideal for those with young families, with the children’s library on the ground floor and Victoria Park around the corner.

Special invitation to schools and colleges:

If you would like to bring a group of up to 15 pupils to view the exhibition, engage in a question and answer session and take part in a photography lesson, please contact Janet as soon as possible on 023 9281 1441 to arrange a visit. There will be no charge for your visit, which will last approximately 45 minutes. Janet’s previous experience as a class teacher and educational psychologist will ensure the session will be relevant for all ages and abilities.
