The Southsea Sisters plan to have there third meeting on the 26th of September in a pre booked room upstairs in the Wine Vaults. All ladies are welcome whether you have attended before or not. This meeting the group will vote on whether to officially become part of the WI or remain an autonomous group.

Also Clare Forsyth, Service Development Manager at Portsmouth City Council Library Service will be talking about Portsmouth BookFest- a book festival arranged in a partnership between Portsmouth City Council and the Hayling Island Bookshop. This year they have a wide range of exciting events in Portsmouth, including a Girls’ Night In with bestselling female authors and pampering treatments, a Vintage publishers’ Readers’ Day with Deborah Moggagh, CSI Portsmouth and a reading group favourite evening- the Firestation Bookswap on Tour.

Its set to be a wonderful evening and the Sisters hope many ladies can attend. Remember all are welcome and if you have never been before the group is very warm and welcoming.
