Whilst perusing the stalls at this years Victorious Vintage at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard I came across Kirsty’s stall with a fantastic array of her work.

Kirsty was born in Portsmouth and still lives here today.  “I love to capture the sites that I have grown up in and the changes that are happening around me. I am a very active photographer and enjoy travelling and take my camera everywhere I go looking to capture memories that I can share.  I am passionate about my photography using mainly natural lighting to capture colour, texture and strong compositions. On occasions where required to do so I will use flash photography trying to keep it as unobtrusive as possible.  I will venture out on many an occasion regardless of the weather or time in the hope to capture the world from a different perspective. Having qualified using film I will always endeavour to capture the image on my Digital camera as authentic moments in time however having advanced onto digital I also thrive in using my artistic talent when adapting these moments using digital manipulation”.
