Aspex Gallery is holding a conference entitled What’s Next for Culture in Portsmouth? at The New Theatre Royal on Friday 29th June. A range of local and national speakers have been invited to continue this conversation about the future of culture and the event will also include a screening of artist Annis Joslin’s film of responses from portsmouth residents, and live drawing from illustrator Arran MacKintosh.
The conference will bring a range of perspectives to the table, come along and take part in a conversation about the cultural life of our city.

Im really looking forward to this, especially Clare Doherty from Situations. The projects she has been involved with are fascinating. Currently involved in towing an island from the Arctic to the south coast for Alex Hartleys Nowhereisland. She is also a top bird.
