Artist Jess Quinn crafts beautiful and original toys, art dolls and accessories and I am totally wowed by her work. It has certainly given me something to aspire to as a maker.

Its all thanks to lovely local artist Letty Clarke has taken over the curation of the aspex gallery shop and is focusing more on handmade and British designed pieces. Its also great to see a large section given over to a local artist and maker Josephine Philpott/Posy Illustrations who recently graduated from Portsmouth University. The shop will also be undergoing a refit by a local joiner.

Its always worth dropping regularly as artist and makers will change with the season in the shop space.
