The Gloo networking event continues, the next one (number 4) is at 3rd Floor, Central Library, on Monday 24th and will focus on the creation of more spaces and venues to use for exhibitions and events in Portsmouth – so this time they’ll be telling you how to make your own. The speakers for the evening will be imparting all of their how-to-use-empty-shops knowledge on the night:

– Dan Thompson, the Founder of the Empty Shops Network, will be talking you through his groundbreaking work in to converting abandoned shops into creative spaces.

– Carl Leroy-Smith, of Deer Park Alpha, is going to be speaking about the recent redevelopment of several of the empty shops on Market Way, Portsmouth.

– Elle Gaffney, from the Partnership, will be presenting further opportunities for work with empty shops in Portsmouth.
