Southsea based Ami Hyde, who launched her own wedding styling business off the back of her own wedding back in 2017, is now on her third year of hosting a wedding fair with a difference.

“We launched Lo & Behold Another Wedding Fair with the aim of showcasing the best, most innovative and inspiring suppliers in and around the South Coast. This is not your average wedding fair, each year we team up with a Host Venue and create a whole vision and theme for the fair drawing inspiration from the venue itself and big trends within the wedding scene. Suppliers are hand-picked and the whole event is curated to ensure our visitors have the best possible experience”.

“As you walk around the event you will see styled spaces to showcase the potential of suppliers collaborating and concepts you may not have event considered, our pitches are designed to give you ideas and inspiration as well as the opportunity to chat directly to the suppliers you may end up working with on your big day.”

Wedding Fairs allow couples and wedding parties to meet a broad range of suppliers and discuss their own plans for their big day, whether couples are recently engaged and just starting out with their planning, or if they just need to secure the last few details. Finding the right suppliers is absolutely key to a good wedding!!

This year’s event takes place at the beautiful & historic venue Stansted Park. Whilst many are familiar with the Rowland Castle based garden centre, café and big summer events; lots of people are unaware that you can also get married in the stunning house itself or a hidden chapel! Over the weekend of the 5 & 6 October the doors to Stansted House will be flung open and you are welcome to explore the house; upstairs and down, browse round a bustling marquee on the lawn and also check out the sensational bridal suite which can be booked as part of a wedding package at Stansted.

If this wasn’t enough to get you grabbing your bridesmaids and booking tickets, Ami has also teamed up with Cosham based bridal shop owner Nicola Willshire who, as part of the event is also hosting an exclusive Bridal Fashion Show event! Taking place at 4.30pm on Saturday 5 October, Nicola who owns the incredibly popular bridal boutique Velvet Queen tells all; “we are so excited to be showcasing a gorgeous collection of bridal wear, that truly reflects our Velvet Queen vibe. There will be something for every kind of bride – modern, classic, boho, romantic, even something for those considering a bit of colour! Not only are we showcasing some of our favourite gowns, but they will be modelled by the perfect, most gorgeous queens. True to our values, we have ensured we represent our collection on a diverse group of people, and we just can’t wait to share it all with you.”
