Since the last Portsmouth Psych Fest announcement there’s been a few more final additions to the festival which will be celebrating all things weird and wonderful across The Wedgewood Rooms, Edge of the Wedge and Acapulco Bar along with Strong Island Recordings, Honeymooner Records and Crocodile Nightmares.
Heading the final additions is Brighton doom-laden, surf-rock sludge favourites The Wytches who will no doubt whip up quite the riot. Along with The Wytches is fellow Brighton psychedelic outfit White Room, as well as spellbinding psychedelic, meets punk quartet Madonnatron and last but certainly not least Swedish Death Candy who will create a tidal wave of heavy psychedelia.
On top of the final additions, local hero Paul Groovy of Flash FM will be playing psychedelia, garage-rock and everything else in between spanning across the decades and Velvet Candy will be illuminating The Edge of the Wedge and Acapulco with their mind-bending liquid light show on top of Innerstrings who will be creating their amazing visuals in The Wedgewood Rooms.
On top of the above is the already announced is headliners Flamingods, Melt Dunes who will be headlining the Edge of the Wedge, Strange Cages, Creatures, Yassassin, Number 9, Barbudo, Black Midi and many more. You can find more details about the festival over on the Portsmouth Psych Fest Facebook page as well as purchasing tickets in advance on Skiddle, Dice, Wedgewood Rooms and also instore at Pie & Vinyl and Dress Code.
