Back in August Rose Clover and Bureau of Change made the short move from the South Coast Emporium to open their own shop on Albert Road. The shared space is brought to you by florist Liz Penman and interior designer Neil Williams. Everything that you can see in the shop is for sale, not just the flowers but the tables, chairs and light fixtures.

I went down to visit as they opened the doors on their first day of trading. It’s a good job that I managed to take a few shots before friends, family and a host of passers-by descended on the shop. Since the shop opened Liz has since described to me that the overwhelming support from customers and surrounding businesses have made them feel very welcome.

Because everything in the store is for sale you can expect it to often look very different on each visit. At the moment the majority of the flowers on sale there are succulent plants but Liz will soon be using it as studio, making up bunches for local deliveries or arrangements for weddings, funerals and events. We are planning to return for a full feature in the near future but for now can we just take a moment to admire how rad the shop looks?
