PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

New Video from The Neptune Girls

Local dance company the Neptune Girls have just released their latest dance video on social media. The founder of the group run by Carly-Ann Purcell explained that “We really want to empower people to love their bodies whatever their shape or size. There is so much pressure on us culturally to look a certain way, so this is our reminder to you, to love you for you!”

Carly-Ann collaborated with Olivia Cheesbrough to choreograph to the tongue in check sassy tune ‘Too Much’ by OCAD. You will recognise many of the locations in the video, they include Albert Road, the South Coast Emporium. Local fashion blogger Helena Lester-Card from Sassy World lent a hand to style the dancers.

We wanted to stay local and felt these locations reflected our energy. Carly-Ann Purcell
