Cavalry is a fundraiser being held at 1865 in Southampton to raise money for Greg Gilbert. Greg is known to many as the singer and guitarist of the band Delays and as an artist. He has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer that has spread to his lungs. He and his family as seeking to raise money to travel overseas to undergo urgent treatment unavailable to him on the NHS.

Cavalry will be packed with an awesome line-up of bands and artists related to Delays in some way or another. Having either toured with them, recorded with them, festivals with them, any link at all. The fundraiser gathers together some great talent including Band Of Skulls, Mystery Jets plus Delays featuring Simone Marie (Primal Scream), Sam Duckworth (Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly), Thomas Tantrum and The Diamond Age. There will also be a few more special guests to be announced in the run up to the event.
