We are excited to introduce you to Kelly Feng, a young, local artist from Portsmouth. Originally from China, Kelly started sketching when she was about 5. With no siblings to play with at that age she would draw anything that caught her eye and keep herself busy and happy. Having used almost all mediums Kelly has really found her direction within watercolour. Having moved from China 13 years ago, the self taught artist is now beginning to exhibit her work.
The exhibition opens to the public at 9am on Saturday the 11th of June, and closes at 4pm on Sunday the 12th of June. It’s a great opportunity to browse her watercolour paintings whilst enjoying a beverage. There will be 8 original paintings on display for you to view as well as brochures of her other work. Kelly will be available over the course of the weekend to meet with you and discuss her work and answer any questions you may have.
The exhibition is being held at Starbucks in the Cascades Shopping Centre, Portsmouth and for more information and contact details please visit the events Facebook page HERE.
Painting was a self taught hobby. I never had the chance to study or attend after school clubs in China…
