Saturday’s weather was an un-predicted bonus to the day’s many events all over the city, one of which was the ALLCAPS organised paint jam at Southsea Skatepark appropriately named Concrete Canvas. The park was previously painted by a similar event some years ago and with the recent updating of some of the facilities and new ramps built once the charity took over it was ready for a repaint.
Adam Reeves was on hand during the day to capture the painting in progress and as you’ll see, not only were existing painted parts of the skatepark updated but new areas were made available for painting including the snakerun. Serious props to all of the artists involved and ALLCAPS, be sure to pop down to the skatepark to have a look when you get the chance.
