Blissfields Festival begins on 5th July at Vicarage Farm in Winchester. Portsmouth will be well represented at the festival with an eclectic mix of artists performing over the three days. In the build up to the festival we will be showcasing those artists involved.
The new kid on the block in the Portsmouth music scene is Jerry Williams. Local girl Jerry is only seventeen years old but has been playing guitar, singing and writing songs since she was twelve. Her voice is instantly captivating and her lyrics show that she is clearly mature beyond her years.
Jerry is playing the Blissfields Acoustic stage on friday 1:45-2:10pm.
If Jerry she told me that if she had to pick three songs that meant the most to her at the moment they would be Jake Bugg ‘Lightning Bolt’, The Cure ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ and Ben Howard ‘Only Love’.
Jerry has been playing shows around Portsmouth constantly for the past six months. This shows no sign of stopping with shows booked for Wedgewood Rooms, The Kings Theatre, RMA Tavern, Culdridge Country Show, the Southsea Show, Victorious Festival, Southsea Fest and Little Little Johnny Russells. To find out more about these shows check out Jerry on Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud.
