Tonight sees the opening of the Lone Twin Boat Project Exhibition at Aspex Gallery. Tonight’s preview evening features the city’s artistic response to the inspiration of the Loan Twin’s Cultural Olympiad project – The Boat Project. The exhibition contains photography by local photographer Aaron Bennett, video and audio by Alonso Mendoza and flags by Jonathan Parsons all telling the story of the arrival and departure of Collective Spirit at Gunwharf Quays. As you may remember Collective Spirit is the wooden boat made from peoples donations of wood including many items from the city, including a piece of HMS Warrior.

The exhibition runs until Monday 19th November.
