Ye Olde Bike Shoppe – a new home

The ever popular Ye Olde Bike Shoppe has now moved to a new venue. The owner and friend/supporter of Strong Island, Stuart Trett is very pleased with his new premises which can be found at the corner of Albert Road and Waverley Road traffic lights, behind the tattoo parlour.

Stuart has now transported all of his bikes and expect to see some changes in the look and feel of the shop. He is currently looking for artwork (bike related) to be exhibited and sold on a new gallery wall inside. He will also be decorating the ceiling with the 1,000’s of photos he has taken of people who have visited Ye Olde Bike Shoppe in the past and bought a bike from him.

“Thanks for all those who have supported and encouraged me over the past year. Please pop by and say hello and help me build up a bike related gallery with your pieces of artwork, photographs etc”.

Ye Olde Bike Shoppe is a bicycle servicing and restoration business. On the sales side of things Stuart specialises in vintage, retro, classic old skool wheels, although he has in stock a complete range from kids bikes to mountain bikes, and can source almost anything you want. He offers a complete service, tune up, fixing of any problems and a professional clean and polish and a full restoration of any old classic. He wants people to fall back in love with old bikes rather than spending hundreds of pounds on a new one. Stuart is the bike therapist of Southsea!
