Friend of Strong Island, Joe Loughborough, has been busy in his little studio in the eastend of Paris! Working steadily to produce a series of black and white drawings for a solo exhibition in London, which he will be unveiling this spring!
This amazing artists work has been featured in many high profile exhibitions and has gain global recognition in London, Paris and even as far a field as America! Last year Joe was involved in an Mtv project called Re:Define. Re:Define brought together 30 world renowned artists to showcase their work and to take part in a live auction. Joe was in great company alongside other high profile artists included Turner Prize nominee Tracey Emin.
The picture below is titled ‘The Waiting’, this will feature in a group show at the Galerie Naclil in Lille. The show includes other French artists such as Lydie Arickx and Isabelle Ameline Vialle.
