Come and challenge your ideas about knit and crochet through a range of activities with Deryn Relph that will allow you to try something different – be that knitting without needles, using unconventional yarns, or knitting on a massive scale! There will also be an introduction to using colour in design – all as a taste of what could be achieved by thinking outside the box, or ‘off-pattern’! Based in Waterlooville and winner of the 2010 UKHKA Knitted Textile Awards, Deryn creates quirky, knitted interior products in uplifting rainbow bright colours.

Deryn freelances for a major UK interior design company and runs knit and crochet workshops and was commissioned to create knitted lampshades for Farnham Maltings and has exhibited at New Designers – One Year On, at Handmade in Britain (Bath) and at the New Ashgate Gallery (Farnham).
