Six recent graduates of the University of Portsmouth BA Fine Art degree course are exhibiting and running the Signal Gallery in London’s East End for a week launching on the evening of 26th July 2011, the Private View which will run from 6-9pm. The artists, Danielle Darby, Steve Chivalry, Dale Pattenden, Jodie Eddy, Rob Knox and Richard Eveleigh will be taking over the gallery space, showcasing work from sculpture, paint and animation, hoping to present a selection of work from the Portsmouth based art scene. Life After, the title of the exhibition, describes and visualises the journey from university to the contemporary art industry of the outside world.
