Stitch by Stitch on Sunday 17th October

I think its fair to say summer is far behind us all now. So knitting needles at the ready, for some winter wear.

This is a free knitting night is for everyone, from those who have never picked up a needle before to those that know the difference between a garter stitch and a stockinette.

As well as the opportunity to wield a set of needles, come just to eat cake, drink tea, have a natter in cosy surroundings & watch a bit of murder she wrote. If there is a better way to spend a lazy Sunday’s eve, we haven’t found it. Some equipment is provided but it is recommended to bring needles and a ball of wool just in case. The group now have a large collection of patterns so feel free to bring and swap patterns & wool. We have also be kindly donated a knitting machine, which is great fun for all kinds of projects.

One of which is it to make alot of sections to cover a few sad trees. They may need their own jumpers to get them through the few cold months. So fill your boots and do a few lines on the machine.
