COVID-19 Art Ads Campaign’s Second Wave Now Up

I’m sure that many of you will have seen the successful Kickstarter campaign run by Annabel Innes in partnership with a group of local creatives. Its aim was to say a special thank you to to all the city’s residents and workers via four 20ft x 10ft billboards on Goldsmith Avenue.

The second wave has now been put up and features local creatives, My Dog Sighs, Ooberla, Pompey Banana Club, Karl Bailey and Harry Roberts (pictured above).

Perhaps I shouldn’t be encouraging people to leave the house to look at them, but I guess we are permitted time out of the house for exercise. therefore I recommend that you take your walk, run or cycle through Goldsmith Avenue to gaze upon this giant exhibition.

The artwork featured so far will soon be made available to purchase online here. I am reliably advised that the online shop will be up and running soon and when it is we’ll be sure to let you know on our social media channels.

The campaign isn’t over and they are still looking for sponsors/donations for further artists to be featured. Please find more information over at the following link: www.gofundme.com/covid19-art-ads
