Arts Council of England Funding Workshop at Aspex Gallery

March’s #ThirdThursdays (on the 13th March) at Aspex Gallery features Paula Orrell, Relationship Manager for the Visual Arts, who will be taking over #ThirdThursdays to present on how to apply for funding to the Arts Council of England. The presentation and informal discussion will explore the new funding scheme, and a practical guide to filling out the application.

Funding

Project Grants with Arts Council of England will be the new open access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects, funded by the National Lottery. The fund will support thousands of individual artists, community and cultural organisations. Project Grants opens to applications on 5th March 2018. In the meantime, the Grants for the Arts fund is still open.

#ThirdThursdays

On the third Thursday of every month, Aspex host a range of creative events: exhibition previews, networking, creative showcases and talks/seminars. These unique after-hour activities (until 20.00hrs) allow visitors to engage in creative discussion, meet like-minded individuals and experience the gallery’s three exhibition spaces, bespoke Craft Shop and cafe.
The gallery’s artist-in-residence will also open their Studio to the public – an opportunity to see their work and learn about their creative practice.

Booking

This event is completely free but booking to this event is essential – please register your attendance via the relevant Eventbrite page (click here). If you have any queries, please contact the gallery’s Marketing & Communication Manager: ollie@aspex.org.uk.
